Anticipated changes are in store for the upcoming iPhone 15 series, with Mark Gurman's latest newsletter shedding light on some intriguing details ahead of the highly-anticipated September launch.

Notably, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will introduce a cutting-edge low-injection pressure over-molding (LIPO) display technology. This advancement will significantly reduce the bezels surrounding the display to a mere 1.5mm, a marked improvement from the 2.2mm bezels found on the iPhone 14 Pro series

The successful implementation of the LIPO display process in the Apple Watch Series 7 has spurred Apple's intention to incorporate it into the iPhone Pro series and possibly extend it to the next generation of iPad Pro devices.

In March, an intriguing hands-on video showcased the glass panels of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro, while tipster Ice Universe shared a fascinating mock-up illustrating the possible appearance of the novel displays.

The standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are projected to receive enhancements with Dynamic Island cutouts, while the exclusive 120Hz ProMotion displays will continue to be a feature solely available on the Pro models.

Another significant alteration anticipated for the iPhone 15 Pro series is the transition to a titanium frame, surpassing the current stainless steel implementation that has been in use since the iPhone X era

This shift promises a combination of greater strength and reduced weight, presenting potential benefits for the overall design and durability of the device.

The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro series is set to receive significant enhancements, particularly in its camera department. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will boast an exclusive periscope lens, offering an impressive 6x optical zoom capability.

Moreover, the Pro models will be powered by Apple's latest A17 chipset, manufactured on TSMC's advanced 3nm node. Alongside this upgrade, the design of the Pro models will undergo slight tweaks, featuring softer edges at the back. In contrast, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will continue to utilize the A16 SoC from the previous year.

According to Gurman, Apple plans to adopt the new chassis design from the iPhone 14 for the iPhone 15 series, resulting in easier repairability for all forthcoming iPhones. Additionally, the entire iPhone 15 generation is expected to embrace the USB-C standard.

While these new features promise an enhanced user experience, they come at a premium cost. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to start at $200 more than last year's 14 Pro Max, and the iPhone 15 Pro will also see a $100 increase in its starting price.....
