The Signboard entry point has been fortified with a deployment of over 150 police officers, comprising members from the Detective Branch (DB) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
Upon consulting the ticket sellers at the long-distance bus counters, it was ascertained that the traffic would be halted beyond 11 am.
In the capital, law enforcement authorities, including the police and Ansar members, have been stationed in front of Shonir Akhra Daniya College on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.

In order to bolster security, a fleet of armoured police vehicles stands prepared and vigilant.

Inquired about the security measures, Mehedi Hasan, Joint Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, emphasized that any location where political parties gather without proper permission is considered legally unauthorized. Consequently, the police remain vigilant to address such situations and uphold public safety.
As of the time of reporting, there have been no indications of BNP's presence.
Additionally, there were no signs of leaders or activists from the Awami League and its affiliated groups.
Meanwhile, the opposition party BNP and its allies have declared sit-ins at significant entry points leading into Dhaka, scheduled for Saturday.

On Friday, a momentous rally hosted by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir unveiled the program, making a significant announcement.
