Afif is set to join forces with Liton as they both represent Surrey Jaguars. However, Afif's opportunity to play in the upcoming matches hinges on the team's qualification for the play-off stage. In case the team doesn't qualify, the talented left-handed batter will be able to participate in only the two remaining group matches.

Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of the Tigers' Test and T20I teams, previously represented Montreal Tigers in the Global T20 League. Today, he is set to embark on a new journey as he leaves for Sri Lanka to join the Lankan Premier League, showcasing his talents on a different cricketing stage.

Sitting comfortably at the third position in the points table, Surrey gears up for its next two matches on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the much-anticipated final scheduled for August 6.

The Bangladesh team eagerly prepares for the upcoming Asia Cup, starting with a fitness camp commencing tomorrow, leading up to the skill camp starting on August 8.

While Afif and Liton will not be part of the fitness camp, fans can look forward to their presence in the skill camp, where they are expected to join the team.

In the meantime, there is news that Mushfiqur Rahim and Taskin Ahmed are making their way back after their appearances in the Zim-Afro T10 League and are scheduled to rejoin the camp. However, the pacer Shoriful Islam and Shakib will be joining the camp at a later date due to their commitments in the LPL.

Furthermore, the promising young cricketer, Towhid Hridoy, has been signed by the Jaffna Kings for the LPL. Nonetheless, he will only be available for the first three games of the tournament.
