Samsung unveiled its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, during the Unpacked event held in Seoul on July 26.
These cutting-edge devices are currently at the forefront of the foldable market's progression, but TM Roh, who heads Samsung's Mobile eXperience Business, has affirmed that these releases merely mark the initial phase.
The imminent arrival of Galaxy foldable tablets is certain.

According to a conversation with Mr. Roh, Samsung's commitment to enhancing customer experiences goes beyond mere hardware advancements.
The focus is on optimization, improved software integration with hardware, and innovative form factors to provide users with positive interactions.
Beyond the foldable form factors of the book-like Z Fold and flip phone, Samsung's explorations extend further. TM Roh firmly believes that foldable tablets are an inevitable development, as reported by The Independent.
The concept of foldable tablets follows a logical progression
Samsung Display's experiments with various foldable form factors, such as the Flex G, Flex Note, and dual-hinge tablet Flex S, are well-remembered.
The Flex S, with a footprint three times smaller when folded, might or might not become a reality.
What TM Roh confirmed at Unpacked and in a conversation with The Independent is Samsung's active work on foldable tablets.
TM Roh noted, "Tablets are an excellent product category suitable for the foldable format." He explained, "The reason behind our conviction in foldables is quite simple.
The act of reading books or using notebooks has been an integral part of human history and nature."
The analogy of opening a book or notebook resonates with everyone. The instinctive understanding that folding them maintains the content but in a more compact, portable form is universally recognized.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 adheres to this principle, albeit on a smaller scale compared to a tablet.
Tablets are valuable devices, but their portability lags behind that of smartphones and even conventional books, unless they're nearly mistaken for large phones.
Foldable display technology promises to address this challenge, enabling Samsung users to carry larger-screen devices conveniently.
"When individuals open a book to read or a notebook to jot down notes, folding them shut naturally makes them compact and portable [...]. It's a fundamental aspect of human behavior."
TM Roh remarked, "The innovations applied to smartphones will subsequently extend to tablets and laptops. To achieve this, Samsung is making substantial investments.
As soon as the foundational technology matures and offers meaningful innovations to consumers, introducing these products becomes our goal."
The exact release date of a foldable Galaxy tablet remains undisclosed. However, for enthusiasts of the idea, Samsung is diligently working to materialize it.
A Galaxy tablet with a foldable display will be introduced once Samsung is confident in perfecting the concept.
