Users now have the flexibility to adjust the time the camera takes to capture and process images.

In the One UI 6.0 stock Camera app, you're presented with three advanced options: Maximum, Medium, and Minimum. These settings apply solely to still images. The default option is Maximum, prioritizing impeccable image quality at the expense of slightly slower capture and processing.

Medium strikes a well-balanced compromise between image quality and speed, while Minimum optimizes camera speed over the ultimate image quality. Opting for Maximum ensures the finest image quality, even though it might marginally slow down the camera app.

Individuals frequently capturing images of fast-moving subjects such as kids or pets may have previously experienced some frustration with Samsung's camera speed, particularly in indoor and mixed lighting conditions.

However, the Medium or Minimum option allows the phone to capture images more swiftly, albeit with a minor trade-off in terms of slightly higher noise.

These options can be accessed by navigating to Camera » Settings » Advanced Intelligence Options and selecting the desired preference. Prior to One UI 5.1.1, these advanced camera settings were exclusive to the Camera Assistant app, launched by Samsung last year

It's encouraging to witness Samsung incorporating some of these features into the stock Camera app through the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.
