"In the present day, it's easy to critique choices like 'Anjali shouldn't have chosen a saree' or 'Why didn't Rahul notice her when she was in track pants?'
However, it's essential to remember that the Raj and Anjali from that era might have discovered love through those very moments. Love's meaning has evolved with time," she elaborated.

At the occasion, Kajol shared an intriguing anecdote about her past, unveiling a moment when acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam had approached her for a potential collaboration.
Regrettably, due to prior commitments and her dedication to Karan Johar's legendary film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998), she had to decline the opportunity to work with Ratnam on the project.

According to Kajol, she recounted, "During the filming schedule of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, an unexpected opportunity arose from Mani Ratnam to work on a project with him. Initially, I was skeptical about receiving an offer from Mr. Ratnam.
However, due to my prior commitment to Karan for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, I couldn't proceed with the offer. Despite some suggesting that I should have chosen Mani sir's film, I firmly believed in honoring my commitment, and in hindsight, it turned out to be a beneficial decision."
